Where has the time gone? How is it possible that our baby girl is already a year old? She's the smiliest, happiest, sweetest little girl. She always has a big smile and scrunches up her nose when she smiles. When I tell her no, she smiles, tilts her head, and starts blowing kisses. Holy cow- how does she already know how to charm her way out of getting in trouble? Sawyer is the best big brother and loves his "baby sissy".
She can say "mama, dada, uh oh, and Da- for Sawyer". She can blow kisses, wave, and occasionally she will do the sign for more or all done. But mostly she just smiles when you do the sign for what she wants- again, charming her way into getting what she wants. (We are gonna have to keep that in check.) She's got daddy wrapped around her little finger. She often comes up and just lays her head in his lap. He's smitten with his little girl. It's so precious to watch them love each other.
She has taken steps by herself and loves to walk while you hold her hands, but hasn't taken off walking on her own own yet. We got her her first baby doll for her birthday and she loves it. When we tell her to get her baby, she goes right to it and will kiss baby (or try to eat her face, as Casey calls it). It's so amazing that she is already so different from Sawyer. It's so neat to see the innate, God given, girliness in the way she loves her baby doll, new makeup table, purse, and hairbows. She's the sweetest little thing and it is such a joy to have her as my daughter.
