Easter Blessings!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with both of our families. It is nice that they live close enough to each other that we can see both families in one trip. Stephen and Ayden, our niece and nephew, had so much fun dying Easter eggs, going on an egg hunt, and telling the Easter story using the Resurrection Eggs. It is so sweet to hear them tell about the real reason we celebrate Easter, and the excitement they get when they open the last egg, which is empty, and say "This ones empty because of the empty tomb, Jesus is alive!" I will never get tired of hearing them tell me the Easter story!
Ayden insisted that she wear her white Easter hat with a pink bow all weekend, even with play clothes. She is such a girly girl, and I love it!
It was good to get to go to my parents' church, New Life, and hear my dad preach an awesome sermon. I will never get tired of hearing him preach. I am always amazed at the words the Lord speaks through him.
Overall, we had a wonderful Easter and it was great to get to spend time with our families! We are truly blessed!
